Chow Mein (Chicken)

Ingredients

  • Chicken (cubed), cabbage (shredded), carrots (shredded), bok choy (if you want), bean sprouts, garlic, green onions, Ramen noodles (Chow mein noodles)
  • Sauce – mirin or  Shaoxing wine(1 1/2 tbs), sesame oil (1/2 tbsp), oyster sauce (1 1/2 tbsp), soy sauce (1 1/2 tbsp), sugar (2 tbsp), pepper, corn starch (2 tbsp)

Steps

  • Mix the sauce
  • Marinate the chicken with some of the sauce
  • Place pan (preferably a wok) on high heat
  • Add the garlic and the chicken and stir
  • Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, bok choy (stir until mixed)
  • Add the noodles and the rest of the sauce (stir until mixed)
  • Add the bean sprouts and green onions and stir
  • Plate
