This year the wrestling team will say goodbye to many of their teammates as they graduate. The question is who will take their place? There are many Juniors and sophomores currently on the team ready to take leadership positions, and there are many middle school wrestlers that will be moving up to the high school team.

“Every year we are looking to add new wrestlers to the team,” Head coach Paul Hansen says, “One of the greatest recruitment tools we have is Middle School Wrestling. We had a great year this year! I am really looking forward to the Middle School boys and girls to join us next year.”

Everyone on the team would encourage all who are thinking about joining the team to do so. Wrestling has played a large role in many of the seniors lives, especially since many of them have been wrestling for many years.

“Wrestling has played a huge part in my life,” Senior, Cameron Robinson says, “teaching me that if you want something bad enough, you’ll do what it takes.”

Wrestling is also a great sport to join to teach life lessons and better yourself.

“Wrestling redefines the word discipline,” Hansen says, “Once you have wrestled, everything else in life is easy!”
