Turner days: “For the community, by the community”

Alyssa Langton

Turner Days is a Turner tradition that the community holds every year. This year will be the 37th annual parade.

What is Turner Days?

Turner Days is a parade with floats, fair food, family and lots of fun! The event is hosted behind Turner Middle School on October 8th every year. The festival lasts all day: 10am-6pm. Turner days also has a Car show event. Here they show off vintage cars, trucks and bikes. In the parade you will see floats from all the schools, cheerleaders, the football team, the band and so much more. Down on the field you will have all kinds of different things to see, do and explore. They have a bouncy house, volleyball in the mud, fair games and informational booths. This year Homecoming and Turner Days are all in the same day! Before the big day the football team plays their homecoming game and Student Council announces who won King and Queen on court. Homecoming is at the high school from 8:30pm-11pm!

Turner Days is a great way to spend your Saturday, meet with friends, family and enjoy the community!
